PHOTOS: JBH auxiliary marketplace sees packed house on opening day

Joseph Brant Hospital auxiliary's 26th spring marketplace on Friday afternoon at St. Christopher's Anglican Church draws huge crowds

A little rain didn't stop more than 50 shoppers who lined up early for the Joseph Brant Hospital auxiliary spring marketplace on Friday afternoon at St. Christopher's Anglican Church in Burlington.

Shoppers came from near and far to take a look at the antiques for sale. This spring's selection ranged from Royal Doultons, complete China sets, antique furniture, crystal and jewelry. There was even an 1866 violen, classic model train sets and diamond rings.

The 26th annual event is a fundraiser for the hospital and all items are available first-come, first serve. Judging by Friday's crowd of eager buyers, it's been a great success.

The marketplace will be open Saturday 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
