April 22nd, 1959 - April 30th, 2024

Born on April 22, 1959, to Bill and Sylvia Collier in Timmins, Ontario, Kimberly Eve (Kim) grew up a dancer and performer with a quick wit and strong personality that she passed on to her daughter, Katryna Alexis (Katy), in 1985.

Kim wouldn't have wanted her life glamorized and described here; what she would want is to say, and always did, is that the best thing she ever did was have Katy, and how her greatest and most singular joy in life were the early days spent raising her daughter.

Predeceased by her mother and father, and survived by her daughter and sisters (Katherine and Karine), Kim worked hard, and always did so with a sharp jab and choice words for anyone or anything that stood in her way.

Through hardship, her constant was how fiercely she loved her daughter, and was proud to have raised a smart, strong woman despite her impatience, which Kim claimed most certainly did not come from her.

Though her unexpected departure on April 30th, 2024 brings heartbreak for those she leaves behind, may it bring peace to her soul that never really found rest in this world. May we imagine her at her most beautiful and happiest with her head thrown back in laughter, a smile on her face and in the embrace of Katy, who loved her most, and always will.

A sincere thank you from her daughter to those that supported, loved, and cared for Kim throughout all her days. May we all find joy in the moments spent with her, and comfort in the memories made. Not one to go quietly, she will find ways to show us all that she is watching over us and guiding us along until we are together again.

Rest peacefully, my Mommy. I love you around the world and back again, infinitely.
