Deidrie Jensen, beloved wife to Rick Jensen, sister to Leyla Verhagen Read (Brian Read) and Louise Verhagen (Gerry Ruimy), and predeceased by her parents Marylin Patience Verhagen, nee Williams and Frederik Louis Verhagen, sadly passed away on April 22, 2024, after bravely battling cancer. She was born in 1963, filling each year of her life with love, kindness, and cherished memories.

Known for her vibrant spirit and adventurous heart, Deidrie found joy in exploring the Caribbean, with cruising being one of her greatest passions. She especially loved visiting Sint Maarten, where the turquoise waters and gentle breezes brought her a sense of peace and serenity.

Deidrie had a talent for bringing people together through her love for cooking and entertaining. Whether it was hosting extravagant dinner parties or preparing intimate meals for her loved ones, she poured her heart and soul into every dish, creating unforgettable culinary experiences that brought joy and warmth to all who gathered around her table.

For 21 years, Deidrie shared an enduring love with her devoted husband and closest confidant, Rick. Their love story was one of enduring devotion and support, woven with laughter, shared dreams, and countless cherished moments. Together, they navigated life's highs and lows hand in hand, finding strength and solace in each other's embrace.

Deidrie will be remembered for her warmth, compassion, and unwavering strength. Her presence brought light to the lives of all who knew her, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of family, friends, and all who had the privilege of crossing paths with her.
