ABRENICA-MARTIN, Guillerma "Emma"

December 6th, 1938 - May 2nd, 2024

It is with heavy hearts we announce the loss of our dearest Emma who passed away at her home in Stoney Creek, on Thursday, May 2, 2024, at the age of 85. Devoted wife to James Martin whom she has been lovingly married to for 37 years. Dearly missed by her sister Francesita (Terrence) Blimkie. Always remembered by her loving Golden Doodle Suwerte. Forever in the hearts of her niece Lesley (Jason) and nephews Paul (Natasha), Vic (Sam), Alex (Michelle) as well as her great-nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Sesinando and Marecela Abrenica (nee Lim) as well as her brother and his wife Liberato (Cecilia) Abrenica and her niece Marecel (surviving husband Fernando). Emma may be gone from this world; however, she lives on in the stories and memories she has left with all those she touched during her lifetime.

Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 485 Brant Street, (one block north of City Hall), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Thursday May 9, 2024 from 12-1p.m., where the Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday May 9, 2024 at 1p.m.

As per Emma's wishes, and that of her family, a private cremation will be taking place. If desired, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to a charity of your choice would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
