McFARLANE, Margaret Mary (Linney)

October 6th, 1939 - May 2nd, 2024

It is with love and sadness that we announce the passing of Margaret on Thursday, May 2, 2024 in her 85th year. Beloved wife of Peter for nearly 63 years, cherished Mum of Marie, Liam (Judy), Peter, Margaret (Dave), Iain, and Brian (Melanie), devoted grandmother to Sarah, Brendan, Megan, Brianna, Heather, Michael, Tosh, Avery, Logan, and Ainsley, and great-grandmother to Halima. Margaret will be dearly missed by her sisters Catherine and Grace, and is predeceased by her parents Robert and Mary Linney.

In keeping with Margaret's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private Memorial Gathering will be held at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 485 Brant Street, (one block north of City Hall), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Wednesday, May 8, 2024 from 4-7p.m. If desired, memorial contributions to the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
