CASTING ANNOUNCEMENT
Theatre Burlington is pleased to announce the cast for “The Invention of Romance” by Conni Massing, the first production of the 2024-25 season.
This charming rom-com, directed by Michelle Spanik and produced by Michael Hannigan, examines the meaning of love at any age.
Jessica Logan plays Kate, a 30-something museum curator, looking for love in all the wrong places, when it may be right in front of her.
Christina Hopkins plays Louisa, Kate’s long-widowed mother, who has recently re-connected with a man from her past.
Gregory Cruikshank plays James, and all the other male roles in the cast, including Kate’s failed dates and Louisa’s long-lost love.
Rehearsals will get underway shortly, with the show scheduled to run September 13-28.
Season tickets are on sale now. For just $75 you get all three main stage shows, and as an added bonus you can reserve the same seat for all three. Contact TheatreBurlington.on.ca or by calling the Box Office 905-632-7700.
