BurlingtonToday received the following letter regarding lack of GO trains, and now buses, at Appleby Station over the next few weekends (June 14-16 and June 21-23.)

I am a senior in my 78th year who has been riding the GO for over 20 years.

In particular, during the past eight years I have needed GO to get safely from Appleby Station to Union Station and return to go to work for the Toronto Blue Jays. Now these train interruptions without any buses - which normally happens - is happening. Why?

No go on the GO?

(These) actions will cause me and many others to lose income for those days because of inability to get to work. I am on a fixed income and avoid driving due to cost and time being prohibitive for me not to mention parking issues.

Why are there no buses at Appleby and Bronte?

Please explain in written detail.

Thank you for your time.
