44th Walk ‘N Roll fundraiser looking to raise $50,000 for inclusivity and accessibility

Community Living Burlington had a target goal of $75,000 in the Walk 'n Roll fundraiser in 2023.

Walkers, runners, wheelchair users and more are invited to Community Living Burlington’s 44th annual Walk ’N Roll fundraiser at Spencer Smith Park to promote inclusivity.

The walk, which will take place on Saturday, Sept. 21, is a one kilometre route around the Burlington Pier.

The event will also feature a barbeque and live entertainment after the walk is over and prizes for individuals who pass fundraising milestones of $100, $500, $1,000 and $5,000.

Community Living Burlington has set a goal of raising $50,000, and has currently raised almost $18,000. All proceeds from the walk will go towards improving the quality of life of local residents with developmental disabilities.

Registration for the Walk ‘N Roll event opens at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 21 and the walk begins at 11 a.m.
