Burlington residents are invited to bring their ideas - and their appetites - to the city's third annual Food for Feedback event.

The session takes place Saturday, Sept. 16 between noon and 4 p.m. at Central Park (2299 New St.). Participants can enjoy a free meal in exchange for sharing their thoughts on City projects. City staff, Mayor Meed Ward, members of council and city staff will be on hand to hear feedback.

The free drop-in event features more than 26 booths and four food trucks. Canadian Tire is sponsoring a Kidz Zone on site, so they have something to do while family members provide feedback on city projects.

If it rains, the event will move indoors, at the Burlington Senior's Centre.

This year, the City will be seeking feedback and sharing information on topics including:

  • Burlington Transit
  • Climate resiliency
  • Customer experience with the City
  • Civic Square renewal
  • Future use of former Robert Bateman High School
  • Transportation options
  • Recreation
  • Parks
  • Official Plan revisions

Visit the Food for Feedback web page for the full list of topics and details about the event.
