Burlington swimmer Ella Jansen will make her way to France to compete in the Paris 2024 Olympics.
Jansen earned a silver medal in the 400-metre individual medley, and finished fifth in the 200-metre freestyle during the 2024 Olympic & Paralympic Swimming Trials, securing her spot on the team.
The former Notre Dame Catholic Secondary School Student is joining Canadian swim stars such as Penny Oleksiak and Summer McIntosh in Paris. This is her first time being named to an Olympic squad.
Canada is sending a total of 29 swimmers to Paris. The games kick off on July 26, with swimming getting started on July 27.
