Approximately 700 Halton District School Board Grade 4-8 elementary students will compete in a wide range of activities as the 31st annual Halton Skills Competition (elementary panel) returns March 1.

Students will take part in robotics, animation, construction, mechanical engineering and TV/video production at the New Street Education Centre (3250 New St., Burlington) from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

“We are very excited for the return of the Halton Skills Competition,” said Instructional Program Leader (Science and Technology, Safety, STEM) Michelle Stone. "It will be a fantastic day with students solving authentic problems and engaging in collaboration-based critical thinking."
