The project is planned to take around two to three months and finish sometime in the fall

The city recommends residents visit Taywood Park, located less than a kilometre away from Millcroft Park, for the length of the construction project.

Millcroft Park will be closed for eight to 12 weeks starting in late July to make a number of improvements to the playground.

The changes will make the playground more accessible, and installation for a new swing set and play structure is planned for the fall. The current play equipment will be removed and relocated at the splash pad area of the park.

New bike racks, trees, drainage systems, seating and accessible playground equipment will be installed at the park, and new asphalt paths to the play area will make it easier to access for people using mobility aids.

The City of Burlington has recommended that residents visit Taywood Park, Pathfinder Park or Berwick Green Park until Millcroft Park is reopened in the Fall.
