It’s nearly the weekend, and there’s plenty of opportunities to unwind all over town.

Here’s what’s on this weekend in Burlington. 

July 19

Burlington Food Truck Festival - July 19 - 21 - Burloak Waterfront Park

The biggest day in mobile food returns to Burlington, with a new location. The Food Truck Festival takes over Burloak Waterfront Park this weekend with 30 vendors ready to serve their eats. 

This is a free event, but the food will cost you.

Lifeguard Scanning Event - 4:30 - 6:30 p.m. - Nelson Pool

Wondered what it’s like to be a lifeguard? Come down to Nelson Pool this Friday to learn how to scan a pool, complete challenges, and learn how to be a lifeguard.

July 20

Yoga with a View - 8 - 10 a.m. - Joseph Brant Museum

Enjoy a morning yoga session with a view of Lake Ontario from the roof of Joseph Brant Museum. 

The first hour will feature an all-levels yoga class, and mimosas and a breakfast bar with features from Cobs Bread, Mrs. B’s Gifthouse, and Edible Arrangements are available in the second hour. 

Be sure to bring your own yoga mat, water, and towel.

This is a 19+ event. Tickets cost $42.

Burlington Handmade Market, Summer Edition - 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. - Corpus Christi High School

More than 60 vendors are on site with their local gifts ready for loved ones, or for yourself. 

The first 10 attendees get free swag bags, so be sure to show up eraly.

Gigi Noche and Band at Nickel Brook Brewery - 6 - 8:30 p.m. - Nickel Brook Brewery

Singer Gigi Noche takes the stage at Burlington’s own Nickel Brook Brewery. Listen to your favourite pop, R&B, and urban songs from the 2000’s.
