Sept. 20
Bees and Brews: A history of Honey and Mead - 7 - 9 p.m. - Ireland House Museum
Join Backed by Bees at Ireland House this Friday night to dive into the history of honey and mead.
Burlington has a rich history of mead making, and guests will get the chance to sample some of the bee’s brews.
Tickets start at $50 per person, and attendees must be 19-years-old or older.

Sept. 21
Green Up Community Tree Planting - 9:30 - 11:30 a.m. - Millcroft Park
The city of Burlington forestry department and Burlington Green invite residents to help plant more than 250 trees this weekend at Millcroft Park.

HorsePower 4 Hospital - 10 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. - Art Gallery of Burlington
The charity car show returns to the AGB this weekend. More than 50 exotic and limited edition vehicles will be on site to impress and dazzle guests.
Last year, guests saw 60 cars with a combined 30,000 horsepower, and were able to raise more than $200,000 for the Joseph Brant Hospital Foundation.

Telling Tales Festival - Sept. 21 and 22 - Royal Botanical Gardens
The 16th annual Telling Tales Festival is back at Royal Botanical Gardens, with free access to the gardens, a book swap, and author signings.
Local artists and vendors will be on site showcasing their goods, and interactive walks will be available from RBG ambassadors.

Wholesome Story Time - 10:30 - 11:30 a.m. - Orchard Community Hub
Wholesome Story Time returns after the summer break, with this week’s theme being summer.
Representatives from a local natural wellness business will be discussing essential oils, how children can regulate their emotions, and more.

Sept. 22
Walk to the Lighthouse - 1 - 3 p.m. - Joseph Brant Hospital
Join in as walkers make their way from the hospital to the lighthouse in support of mental health and addiction awareness.
200 parking passes are available for the indoor lot at the hospital, and additional parking is available in the surrounding area.

Legion Honours and Awards Celebration - 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. - Legion Branch 60
The Legion’s annual honours ceremony awards service pins to members who have reached a milestone of five, 10, 15, or more years of service.
The 2024 payment dues are required to have a pin provided.
