Passed away at The Carpenter Hospice surrounded by family, on Saturday, July 27, 2024, at the age of 71 after a year long battle with pancreatic cancer. Beloved husband of Sandra for 39 years. Loving father to Jessica (Christopher) Stewart and Laura Bowden. Cherished grandfather of William and Eleanor. Tom will also be missed by his brothers David (Irene) and John (Cheryl), and by sister-in-law Sue (Bob) Savelli. Uncle to Daniel (Tina), Ben (Carly), Sarah, Jake (Mellisa), Tyler, and Ryan. Predeceased by his parents Thomas and Gloria. Son-in-law to Esther and Joseph Poirier.
Tom loved spending time with family, especially at the cottage, playing horseshoes, cards, and enjoying bonfires.
Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stop light north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, from 3 - 5 and 7 - 9p.m. A Service of Remembrance will be held in the Chapel on Thursday, August 1 at 10 a.m. Interment Greenwood Cemetery.
