After a life well lived, Jim died peacefully on Monday, September 9, 2024, at Joseph Brant Hospital in his 97th year. Jim was a leader and a very social fellow. He hiked the Bruce Trail 3 times end to end! He loved his cars, cycling, skiing, camping and traveled extensively throughout his life. His career started at the TH&B, following which he owned Village Motors, ending his career with retiring from Leggat Motors at the age of 55. Jim proudly served for over 50 years with Hamilton Sertoma Club. Left to mourn his loss are his wife of 37 years Kelly and her family, his son Thom, daughter Nancy Jo (Peter), granddaughter Sarah and nephews Mark and Mitchell Gibbs. Predeceased by his daughter Kathryn, grandson Dustin and sister Bette Gibbs. As per his wishes cremation has taken place and no service will be held.
