It is with love and sadness that we announce the passing of Irene on Thursday, September 12, 2024 in her 83rd year.
Beloved wife of Morris for 61 years. Loving mother of Paul (Anka) and Clifford.
Irene was a kind and generous person and very dedicated to her family which included being a foster parent for over 40 years. She was also very community oriented and volunteered for various organizations including the food bank and meals on wheels.
Irene had a positive outlook on life and loved to laugh. She enjoyed camping, travelling, reading and trying out new recipes but most of all she loved watching her team The Blue Jays and cheering them on.
Irene will lovingly be remembered by friends and family all over Ontario, Quebec and New Brunswick.
She is predeceased by her parents Douglas and Marie Connors.
We wish to thank the staff at Juravinski Hospital for their care of Irene.
In keeping with her wishes cremation has taken place and there will be no formal service. If desired memorial donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by family.
