MacArthur, Doreen Florence (Nee Colligan)
Passed away peacefully at Joseph Brant Hospital, Burlington, on Sunday, September 15, 2024, at the age of 86.
Beloved wife of the late George MacArthur (2004). Loving mother of Bryan MacArthur of Burbank California, and Jennifer Walsh (Hanson Ng) of Burlington Ontario. Cherished Grandma of Ashleigh Olsen (Michael), Heather Weir (Jordan), Haylee MacArthur, Elliott Walsh and Great Grandma of Lucia Moreira, Mariam and Isabella Wallace, Elliott Olsen and Jackson Weir. Dear sister of James Colligan. She will be fondly remembered by her extended family members and friends.
Doreen was a parcel sorter with Canada Post for many years. She was a wonderful baker and was famous for her banana bread and chocolate chip cookies. Her greatest joy were her grandchildren and great grandchildren whom she adored.
Private graveside service will be held at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Madoc, Ontario where Doreen will be laid to rest with her husband George.
