Passed away at Joseph Brant Hospital, on Sunday, September 8, 2024, in her 93rd year. Beloved wife of the late Derek Smith (2012) for over 70 years. Cherished mother to Gail, Mark (Joanne), Leigh-Ann (deceased 1999) and Neill. Dear grandmother of Lisa, Julie (Jim), Olivia, Liam, and Matthew. Loving great-grandmother to Luke, Jake, Cameron, Kristin, Ben (deceased 2017), Ava, Max, Jaxson, and Kyra. The family wants to thank the caregivers at Chartwell Christopher Terrace for all of their support.
In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date. If desired, memorial contributions to Alzheimer’s Society of Canada would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
