Passed away unexpectedly at Joseph Brant Hospital, on Saturday, July 27, 2024, at the age of 79. Beloved husband to Diane (nee Burgess) for 60 years. Cherished father to Karen Wells and Mike Wright. Loving Grand-dad to Holly and Kai.
Michael was a 35-year employee of GE Canada Lighting Division and proud president of the union there.
A Remembrance Gathering will be held in the Chapel at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stop light north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Saturday, August 24, 2024 at 1p.m. with reception to follow.
