Missing 'vulnerable' Burlington man located deceased (update)

2 p.m. update:
The Halton Regional Police Service reports that John has been located deceased at 9:30 this morning. Police say his death is not suspicious. He was found outside in the area of Industrial Street and Homewood Drive in Burlington, about 0.6 km from where he was last seen.

The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) is seeking the public’s assistance is locating a missing Burlington man.

John Manson (62) of Burlington was last seen the afternoon of Sept. 17, 2024 in the area of Mountainside Drive and Industrial Street in Burlington.

John is described as:

  • Male
  • White
  • Approximately 5’4”, 124 pounds with a slim build
  • Salt and pepper hair and green eyes
  • He is known to wear dress shirts and pants
  • John uses a walker to get around due to limited mobility

John is vulnerable and police and his family are concerned for his well-being.

Anyone with information about John or his possible location is asked to contact police through 9-1-1 or via the non-emergency line at 905 825 4777.
