IN PHOTOS: Rocket and The Renegades big winners, will open Sound of Music Festival Saturday

Rocket and The Renegades came out on top in The Battle of the Bands Saturday evening at the Burlington Performing Arts Centre.

The Hamilton Band appeared on stage first and captured the judges attention right from the first edgy note. They will open the Sound of Music Festival on the TD Main Stage at 1 pm. Saturday, June 15. 

Buffalo Bill appeared last but was selected to fill a late empty spot for the Access Stage at the west end of Spencer Smith Park Saturday afternoon. Burlington's AC and the Sins finished out of contention.
