The Burlington Centre will host the Mom Market this weekend.

It’s the weekend once more, and set to be a bit drier than last. Unfortunately, it’s also shorter than last weekend. 

Here’s what’s on this weekend in Burlington. 

July 6

The Mom Market - 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. - Burlington Centre

Canada’s original collective market showcasing small business owners is making its way to Burlington. Swing by the Burlington Centre parking lot this weekend to check out local artisans and craft makers latest.

Summer Social - 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. - Burlington Animal Shelter

It’s the most adorable summer social of the season as the Burlington Animal Shelter invites guests to enjoy a tour of the facility, meet adoptable animals, play games and win prizes. 

Ice cream and refreshments will be served as well.

Bottles-4-Bots - 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. - 4401 Corporate Drive

Burlington Community Robotics is holding a bottle drive to support STEM education. Volunteers will be available to collect bottles and cans from your home, or they can be dropped off at Burlington Auto Works. 

The group is aiming to raise $8,000 to cover the startup cost of a community robotics group.

Walking tour of Ward 2 - 1 p.m. - 571 Brant

Downtown Burlington is getting a facelift, and residents can take a walking tour to see what’s in store. Join councillor Lisa Kearns to learn about the future of Ward 2. The tour will start at the No Frills parking lot.

Rockin’ Country Show - 1 - 4 p.m. - Burlington Legion

The Rockin’ Country Show features some of Canada’s top country tribute artists. 

As is the usual with events at the legion, dressing the part is encouraged – and hats are highly encouraged.
